Alberta is one of the western provinces of Canada. Alberta is one of the 3 Canadian prairie (grassland) provinces, the estimated population is 4million (2018 census). The capital city is Edmonton while the largest city is Calgary.

3. Tourism (most notable of which is the Calgary stampede)

Saskatchewan is one of the 3 prairie provinces. Its majorly prairie to the south and boreal to the north, so the population of the province is dense in the south leaving the north sparsely populated.
Saskatchewan has very severe winters in the north and very warm summers in the south.
The 2016 estimated population of Saskatchewan is 1.1million. Its largest city is Saskatoon and its capital city is Regina.
